Obituary for Thomasina Cook-Pough

Thomasina Cook-Pough was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 12, 1962 to Thomas and Elizabeth Cook. She confessed Christ at an early age uniting with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized. Thomasina attended the local schools in Duval County.

Thomasina later met and married Alvin Pough in Jacksonville, Florida, from this union three daughters, Anna, Alvina, Thomasina and one son, Alvin, Jr.

Thomasina departed this life on Friday, May 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Cook; sister, Laura Green; brother, Yusef Mills.

Thomasina leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children, Anna Foster (Dexter), Alvina Pough (Kenneth), Thomasina Cook (Robert) and Alvin Pough, Jr. (Altamese); brothers and sisters, Willie Mae Hines, Wihelmina Lee, Samuel Green, Anna Dumeran, Dorothy “Necie” Mills (Vickie), Rev. Mack Green (Rhonda), Jessie Jackson, Moses Cook (Jennifer), Edward Cook, Thonald (T.J) Jackson, Virgie Livingston and Elizabeth Moore (Willie James); 12 grandchildren, Rodney Harvey, Jamesia Follins, Alvin Pough, Kenneth Brown, Kennesha Brown, Kenny Brown, Kenya Brown, Kenyon Brown, Sylivia Muldrow, Robert Muldrow, Jr., Heaven Pough and Neveah Pough; sister-in-law, Paulette Scott; brother-in-laws, Roland Pough, Anthony Pough, Edward Scott, Luther Scott and Andrew Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
