Michael Brandon Russ was born on Tuesday, March 6, 1984 to Thomas and Melba Russ of Whiteville, North Carolina. Brandon was the youngest of three boys. He attended the local schools, Elementary, Middle School, and graduated in 2004. He loved sports, baseball, football and soccer.


Brandon attended the Dinmore Baptist Church where he was baptized. He was raised on the Northside of Jacksonville. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida with his parents and brothers in 2002 where they live until his passing.


Brandon was employed by Petticoat Schmitt in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a member of the 1 Wheel Motion Motorcycle Club. He attended various trade schools: welding and the Commercial Diving Academy at Florida State College at Jacksonville.


Brandon passed away on September 9, 2018 and was preceded in death by his elder brother, Timothy Russ; grandparents; Rachel Russ, Marie and Oree Young, all of Whiteville, NC.

Michael Brandon Russ leaves to cherish his memories: two loving daughters, Aaliyah and Isabella Russ; father, Thomas Russ; mother, Melba Russ; brother, Thomas Joseph Russ; Kawara Brown; Jalen Smith; grandfather, Thomas Steve Russ; and a host of uncles, aunts, loving friends, and extended family.
