Julie Chrie Thedford was born on June 8, 1970 in Denver, Colorado to the union of Arthur and Linda Billingsley. She accepted Christ at an early age, and continued to serve the Lord until her untimely passing. During her childhood and young adult years, she grew up in Denver where she attended and graduated Manual High School and later completed a course in Homemaker and Home Health Aide.
Julie later moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she continued to pursue studies in health care and was awarded her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate where she then was employed by The Fleet Landing Retirement Community in Atlantic Beach, Florida. She loved working in Hospice Care and taking care of people all the time.
Julie later met and married the love of her life Mr. Willie L. Thedford on November 25, 1995. She then had to discontinue work to take care of her children which was still a full time job while her husband was deployed in the United States Navy. Julie was her own private person who loved listening to the word of God, reading the bible, and keeping her home filled with love and happiness. She enjoyed reading and talking to her children about the Lord, she loved to shop, decorate and helping anyone who needed it. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband. She brightened the life of family, friends and everyone who was around her during her journey.
Julie departed this life on September 19, 2018 at 8:07 am. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Julie leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband of 23 years, Willie Thedford; daughter, Autmun; three sons, Tyson, Travon, and Timothy; father, Arthur Billingsley; two brothers, Greg Billingsley and Keith Billingsley; sister-in-law, Trichon Billingsley, all from Denver, Colorado; father-in-law, Willie H. Thedford; mother-in-law, Jean Thedford; with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
