Obituary for Freddie Lee Johnson

Freddie affectionately called “Pretty Lion” born on June 21, 1960 to the late Arthur Dyous and Johnnie Mae Thomas, in Dawson, Georgia. Freddie worked at Beaches Brass Polishing for over 20 years with his long-time friend, Raymond Zrihen. In spite of his health declining he was still able to go and work when he could, always welcomed with open arms.

Freddie was called home to be with the lord on Thursday, October 11, 2018, with his mother by his side.

The foot prints in his life was cherished by his family: Freddie is survived by his wife, Cheryl Johnson; daughter, Laquanta (Rufus) Shanks; son, Kenneth J. Thomas; step-son, Lamar Wright; mother, Johnnie Mae Thomas; brother, Oren (Carol) Allen; sisters, Carrie B. Johnson, Barbara (Jimmie) Thomas, and Valerie Swain; step-brothers Willie and Demetrius Thomas; step-sisters, Sandra Boyard, Patricia (Edward) Walker and Renata Thomas; nephews, Eric (Vonel), Jimmie (Tania), Darryll and Antonio; nieces, Tiffany (Kelvin), Dineshia (Andre), Ashley and Andrika; god-sister, Maxine Lawson; god-brother, Don (Rochelle) Walter; longtime friends, Deborah Thomas and Leon Jones, a host of uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
