LaGary Williamson, also known as “Brother & Gary” to those who loved him. He was born on October 21, 1944 to Emma Lou Williamson Cosby and the late Frank Williamson. LaGary attended Price High School. He was the pillar in the community and welcomed all that he met to his family. He worked in construction and masonry for 20 plus years. LaGary married Carolyn Y. Turner Williamson on January 2, 1997.

LaGary received his wings on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 2:30pm at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his son, Raymond Charles Williamson; sister, Frankie L. Williamson; brothers Eddie Williamson and Scott Williamson.

LaGary leaves behind many memories to be treasured by family and friends who he loved unconditionally: his wife, Carolyn Y. Williamson; a loving mother, Emma Lou Cosby; son, LaGary Williamson, Jr.; brother, Harry Williamson (Christina); two daughters, Felecia Kempson (Anthony) and Ann Arnold; step daughter, Loretta Brown; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two, great-great-grandchildren; six, sister-in-laws; five, brother-in-laws; special friends, Luther Priste, Walking Slim, Martha Johnson and George; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Lagary Williamson will be held 1:30PM, Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206.
