Reginald Jerome Cousar was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the parents of Lonzy McCray and Lindy Earthaline Cousar. He attended Duval Public Schools and lived in Jacksonville his entire life. Reginald was a proud and longstanding member of the International Longshoremen Association Local #1408 of Jacksonville since 1975. Missing work was not an option for him, he loved his job and continued to work until no longer physically able. He was a no-nonsense man, spoke boldly (if he said it he meant it) and without apologies. Reggie, as he is affectionately known, possessed a great sense of humor with a sharp wit and an infectious, booming of laugh. Reginald is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Leon Cousar, Herbert Cousar and Lawrence McCray; sister, Margie Lamb. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Reginald Jerome Dixon; daughter, Christy Dixon; grandchildren, Rachel, Alexis, Genisis, Geno, Christian Dixon and Cre’ana Bostic; brothers, Peter and Willie James(Ann); sisters, M. Frances Baussan, Ethel Jones, Gloria Mervin, S. Theresa Agurs, Beverly (James) Holt, Tomacina (Kenneth) McDonald; many nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service for Reginald Jerome Cousar will be held 11A.M.,Thursday, April 4th, 2024 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. James Jones III affectionately known as “Duke” was born on June 10, 2002, to Katrina Williams and James Jones Jr. in Jacksonville, Florida. James attended school in the Clay County School District and graduated from Oakleaf High School in 2019. He was very athletic and passionate about playing football, he had BIG dreams of making it professionally. James was employed at Gator Dockside restaurant, while preparing to go off to Merchant Marine school. Duke enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and being a proud father to his now 3-month-old daughter. He was the ultimate prankster; he was very lively and loving to all those who loved him. James accepted Christ into his life at a very early age. James Jones III went to rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father on Sunday March 17, 2024, his untimely passing will leave a huge void in his family, and he will be sorely missed. James was proceeded in death by his grandfather James Jones Sr., his aunt Sandra Jones, brother Julius Jones and sister Skye Jones. Lisa Marie Blankenship, age 55, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on March 16, 2024 at Community Hospice with her loving family by her side. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 6, 1969. Lisa was a very Godly woman that shared her faith everywhere she went. She was a good servant of the Lord and helped feed children in need at Camp Joy in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she loved living for several years with her family. Lisa loved to travel and do arts and crafts, to decorate her family homes growing up to present. She loved traveling back and forth to the mountains and Florida beaches. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her four children and now 1 grandchild. Lisa is survived by her husband, Andrew Blankenship of Jacksonville, Florida and their four children: Ben, Brandon, Dakota, and Alexa; one grandchild, Evan; her parents, Bill and Phyllis Seward of Ormond Beach, Florida; sister, Angie; brothers, Eric and spouse (Allyson), and Derek; and also, nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. Lisa’s family will celebrate her life privately with arrangements under the care of Funerals by T. S. Warden of Jacksonville, Florida.
